The youth unemployment rate in Russia decreased to 12.7 percent compared to the previous year. The youth unemployment rate thereby reached its lowest value in recent years. The youth unemployment rate refers to the share of the workforce aged 15 to 24 that is currently not working but is actively searching for work. It does not include the economically inactive population, such as the long-term unemployed or full-time students.
