Spotify's R&D costs 2013-2024

In 2024, global music streaming service Spotify reported research and development costs of 1.49 billion euros, which decreased by 14 percent compared to the previous year. Costs had been rising for years, and the 2023 figure was more than 23 times higher, while the 2024 figure was over 20 times higher than the 73 million euros recorded in 2013.
