According to a survey on internet activity in Malaysia in 2023, 99.4 percent of the respondents said they used the internet to participate in social networks, while 93.9 percent said they used the internet to download images, movies, or games. A total of 70.6 percent of the respondents used the internet to shop online using e-commerce.
