Average value of exports to Ireland from Northern Ireland (UK) 2016, by business size

Northern Ireland exports to the Republic of Ireland refer to the trade in goods and associated services from Northern Irish businesses (registered for VAT or PAYE) to Irish businesses or households.

Figures are estimated based on the source's 'Cross-border Supply Chain Survey', covering the Northern Irish non-financial business economy, and excluding financial services, farming and the public sector.
* In total, 1,615 responses were received, of which:
1,264 were businesses with 0 to 49 employees;
284 were businesses with 50 to 249 employees; and
67 were businesses with more than 250 employees.

Figures have been rounded to the nearest thousand.
