After peaking in 2019, the total number of drugs confiscations made by the customs authorities in Sweden decreased over the following years. It is likely that the decrease in 2020 and 2021 partly was affected by the travel restrictions imposed due to COVID-19. In 2022, nearly ***** confiscations were made by the Swedish customs authorities.
