In the period from 2009 to October 2023, the general-purpose machinery and parts sector was affected most by trade policy measures deemed as aiding global trade liberalization, with 827 policy interventions. In the special-purpose machinery and parts industry, there were 776 trade liberalizing policy measures undertaken in the same period.
