As of 2019, the sales value of bread and bakery products sold in supermarkets in Italy was diversified according to the products considered. The highest sales value was recorded for toasted bread, as it amounted to over 121.6 million euros during 2019. Concerning crackers and breadsticks, the sales value registered was of around 84 million euros and 66 million euros, respectively.
