Number of oil wells drilled in Mexico 2017-2024, by operator

A total of 128 oil wells were drilled in Mexico as of December 2024, out of which 117 were operated by Petróleos Mexicanos, commonly known as Pemex. That same year, another 11 exploration and development wells were drilled by other operators in the country.
