In 2022, the share of persons engaged in the information and communication technology (ICT) sector in Hong Kong was 3.3 percent. Thereby, the number of persons engaged as a percentage of the overall employed population increased compared to the previous year. The total number of employed persons in the ICT sector decreased by 7.6 percent in 2022. In the same time, the number of establishments in the ICT sector decreased by 3.5 percent.
