In comparison to 2022, the rate decreased not significantly by 0.1 live births per 1,000 inhabitants (-1.08 percent). The crude birth rate refers to the number of live births in a given year, expressed per 1,000 population. When studied in combination with the crude death rate, the rate of natural population increase can be determined.
