In the 2023, merger and acquisition (M&A) deals in North America accounted for approximately one thirds of the total value of global M&A deals. Over the last decade, European and Asia-Pacific deals typically accounted for about half of the total deal value, a trend that remained consistent in 2023. The split between these three regions remained relatively equal when the number of M&A deals globally is taken into consideration.
