The number of organic producers has risen from 24,687 in 2014 to over 58,400 in 2023. This phenomenon is not an isolated one. Indeed, various sectors having to do with the organic food market have witnessed a positive evolution in the past years. Two examples of this trend, that appears to be here to stay, are the retail sales value of all categories of organic foods and the surface area used for organic farming.
