Deaths due to respiratory system diseases in the Balearic Islands 2005-2017

This statistic presents the annual number of deaths due to respiratory system diseases in the Balearic Islands from 2005 to 2017. In 2017, the number of deaths due to this type of diseases* in that autonomous community amounted to 841 deaths. The number of deaths due to diseases of the respiratory system in Spain amounted to 51,615 deaths in 2017. This figure has experienced fluctuations over the last years, reaching its highest national values in 2015 and 2017 with more than 51 thousand deaths in both years.
