The number of patients who had a percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in Norway increased each year from 2012 to 2017, but then dropped significantly in 2018. The number of procedures grew again in 2019, reaching the highest number during the observed period at 11,614 before dropping to 10,733 in 2022.
