Facebook usage for news in Brazil 2024, by age group

During a 2024 survey fielded in Brazil, less than one-third (21 percent) of responding internet users aged between 25 and 34 years said they accessed news on Facebook. Among respondents aged 55 and over, the share stood at 35 percent. Overall, more than 40 percent of internet users in Brazil used WhatsApp to consume news at the beginning of 2024.
