
Primary energy supply South Korea 2022, by source
In 2022, over 118 million metric tons of oil equivalent of energy was supplied from petroleum in South Korea as a primary energy source, making up around 20 percent of the total primary energy supply in the country. This was followed by coal at just over 68 million metric tons of oil equivalent. That year, a total of approximately 309 million metric tons of oil equivalent of primary energy was supplied in South Korea.
