2022 marked the lowest recorded labor participation rate observed in Morocco in over three decades. There was a marginal increase in 2023, however participation has fallen by over five percent in the preceding 15 year period.The labor force participation rate refers to the share of the population aged 15-64 years and over who are economically active.
